So I just finished installing Skyrim, the game offered me ultra on everything, so I accepted it and proceeded to test the game before tweaking more the graphics. Once I start, my fps count is on 17-21, and if I hit the Escape key to go to the menus, the game freezes and can't do anything but use the console. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are your specs? Just curious.

Low performance completely erradicated, totally my fault, had for some reason CCC with 8x MSAA, killing my fps, now it runs 60 steady fps. But still have the escape key bug.
Specs:
CPU - Intel I7 2600k @ 4.2 GHZ
GPU - Radeon HD 6870 Toxic (Overclocked)
RAM - 8GB @1600 mhz Corsair Vengeance
Every trouble I had is solved now.
