Electronic Arts.

Sigh. Well, there goes any chance of playing any free multiplayer.

I will play the story, but what Battlefront 2 so awesome was when you could setup a LAN game and play with all your friends (for me at least with the PS2). Electronic Arts has been nickle and diming it's customers for even the most basic of multiplayer games, even on consoles.

I have a sinking feeling this is going to be more of the same.

We all want Battlefront 3. Fans have been begging for it for years, almost a decade now. They still have other games that were in the works that looked great, but I sure hope EA doesn't mess this up like they do everything else then shut it down when the agreement is over.

If this means we get Battlefront 3, I'm okay with it.

Good and bad I suppose. Bad that EA is touching it, because now there is the chance they get to screw things up. Good that talented developers will be able to make some Star Wars games, especially Bioware. Please just [censored] make KOTOR III already!

I'd rather EA be handling the franchise than Disney, so that's a plus.

EA does have a ton of money to throw at the franchise. We'll see what the future holds I suppose.

Though, EA is publisher for Battlefield and Crysis. Battlefront 3 on Frostbyte or Cryengine? YES PLEASE!
