How did she die?

Was it your fault?

Was it from a vampire attack? I hear vampires are on the loose these days.

Or did one of those dragons eat her?

My roomate and I now refer to anyone either getting in the way, or stepping on something dangerous as "being a Lydia"

Also applies to people who get smacked by something like say...a big spikey wall, and doesnt learn...

She died at the end of a bandit hideout clear, early on. Around level 12 or so. The mountains just outside of the brewery near Whiterun. I shot her in the back of the head ... lol

I thought, hey I'll find her in the crypts so I can raise her or something. NOPE! Fatty wasn't eating in the Jarl's reception hall either. I knew she was gone then. I decided not to backtrack and just kept going. Still, she was one tough dame ...

There is a reason why necromancers have it best; if your follower dies, you can just raise a new one.

Death is a natural part of life and a very common thing in Skyrim. My condolences

When one of my follower dies, I always have my Ring of Namira in my inventory, equip it, and eat the follower. What? Can't let fresh food go to waste, can it?

It's good to see that some Bosmer still follow the Green Pact.

...I think.
