Lydia was following me but then she disappeared and i couldnt find her.I finally found her at dragonsreach but she tells me i already have someone following me even though it was really her. I cant go get another companion either because they also say i have someone following me already.

i even killed her and went to another companion and he said i still have someone following me. If this keeps up im not playing till the next update cause i need Lydia

Did you try to restart your console and see if that fixes it? It could do it...

i just tried that and she still says i have someone with me >.<

are you on any quest that involves escorting someone?

no, i was just going on a mission to kill someone for the companions. But before i went to the mission i stopped at riverwood to get a different companion but he said i have someone following me. I turned around to tell Lydiaa to stop following me but i couldnt find her. U know the rest

So am i screwed until the update?

Could just reload a previous save...

You could kill everyone in the world except Lydia, that should solve it.
