I gave Lydia a helmet and she loves it. I give her a nice chest piece or shield and she wont equip it. Is there a list of items she wont equip?

I think she only equips items better than her default Steel Armor. I gave her some Improved Dwarven Armor that she was happy to put on

She'll equip stuff if it's better than what she has. I think she starts with steel armor by default.

She seems to not equip some stuff until you go outside as well. At least for me she sometimes won't wear her armor until she's not only grouped with me outside but until we're literally out on the road.

I give her superior steel armour and she wont have a bar of it. Give her my old crusty Steel armour with the different pauldrons and she loves it.

I've noticed her boinking out sometimes as well. I crafted up some superior steel and gave it to her, and she wouldn't have anything to do with it.

I figured her default must be at least that already, but probably not. I dunno what the deal is. Maybe we just need to wait longer, change cells, save/reload, or get into a fight or something.

Does she even start with a helmet? I'm pretty sure by default she only wears seel boots, armour and gloves.

Maybe an enchantment? Even a pointless one will make the helmet seem more "powerful" to a brick-headed NPC. hehe

I think that is it. She changed into some Necro robes because they were enchanted and but refused to wear some leather armour.

I put a whole legendary set of dedric armor and she still only put on the helmet i don't think her stell armor is better than my dedric nut cessiro was more than happy to put the set on :thumbsup:
