This is what's happening. I am competing with lydia in "who's the better killer."

She literally does the most ridiculous damage i ever seen from a companion. I don't know if this is common.....But my Lydia is duel weilding a fire staff and a long sword. Just imagine all enemies on fire every single battle amplifying the damage and just getting incinerated before I even notice we got ganked lol.

She also is an amazing archer, helping me deal with those pesky dragons while somehow tanking alot of focus fire. I don't know what it is about this Lydia but she is completely broken. On my first playthrough, lydia was a joke. Walking around with a shield but shooting arrows, never tanking for me.

Now she is an assassin, super aware, mage rogue, duel weilding, dragon tanking, gank preventing, crazy SOB that I am in love with.

I find it odd that the actual companions change their entire style for no reason.

shield + sword but never tanking in first playthrough pissed me off so bad.

second playthrough she is almost better then me....


I don't think I will ever let her go. That bich is strong.

she's the only companion i've found so far >.< though i did find this dude who wanted to follow me somewhere but died by dragon lol

i like her but god she has a lot of flaws and annoyances

1> she likes to KS(Kill Steal) ALOT
2> likes to walk into my line of attack if im using magic
3> cant jump over a simple 1 foot log but has to take 10mins going the LONG way around! >.<

Does KSing matter? So far I noticed killing things gives little experience compared to simply skilling up. Maybe she is getting al lthe exp? do last hits matter?

There is no experience points in this game... only skill progression. You gain skills in the weapon skill you kill stuff with, so her killing stuff for you keeps you from gaining skill. But there's no "expeience points" like other systems might have.
