I was in your topic yesterday Ludovicus, and I didn't think too much of it yesterday, until my girlfriend faced a couple hard attacks. Then she faced a Revered dragon today and that was followed by two swift vampire strikes in Falkreath.

Game really seems to punish the Dawnguard players, if you side with the Vampires you only have to worry about from my experience the Dawnguard guys who come into towns only to attack you.

my brother is a vampire lord and gets dawnguard + vampire attacks, its worse for the vampires i assume..

I've seen packs of Vampires travelling at night but they never attack me..I've also seen Farmers that turn into werewolves and try to kill me.

nothing beats being hunted down like an animal. I miss the Thugs coming for me and the random assassination attempts on my life by Khajiit and turning them into boots/comforters.

OT: is it possible to be a vampire while playing with the Dawnguard?

Serana being the corrupter and seducer she is tries to turn you even if you are on the Vampire Hunter's side, you just aren't able to get the super buffs for your character from the Vampire side's radiant quests if you side with the dawnguard.

They demand you cure yourself or you can't continue the story though Serana as I stated before being the corrupter she is will still keep trying to turn you into a Vampire to spend eternity with her even after you cure it, you have to resist her until you finish the Dawnguard MQ and all side missions..and buy everything you want.

They completely ignore you if you don't cure yourself.
