Magic Apprentice, Novice etc.

Hi!

I would like to know how spell levels like apprentice and so on figure into magic. For instance, I have the bound sword spell which is a Novice spell and the bound greataxe spell which is apprentice.

Can I get an apprentice version of the bound sword skill to make the bound weapon more dangerous? Or are all spells set to a certain spell level? You can't see the spell level when buying a spell book can you?

I am asking this because I wodner if my novice bound sword will become useless at some level and if it would make any sense to buy apprentice and higher level conjuration perks to cast those spells at half cost.

I'm not quite sure, but seeing as the bound weapons are really daedric weapons conjured from Oblivion, they should still be useful as you level. A bound sword does the same amount of damage as a daedric sword.

But that would severely overpower it at low level wouldn't it? If it always stays the same its either really deadly at low level or not very dangerous at high level? So far it seemed to do damage compareable to normal weapons.
