Hey guys I have a couple questions about the Alteration magic resist perk:

1. If I have the perk, does it mean I have a 10% chance to block the whole spell or I resist 10% of the spell constantly?

2. With the perk will it effect my Summons like the Atronach perk does (sometimes will absorb the spell)?

Not 100% sure but i think u resist 10% constantly!

Resistance effects all spells by X%. If you have 10% magic resistance, you will resist 10% of any spell thrown at you. Alternatively, 10% spell absorption gives a 10% chance to absorb ALL effects of a spell.

1. It's not a chance, it's a guaranteed percentage that works as stopping that amount from hitting you as damage - up to the cap of 85%.
2. Resistance has no effect on Summoning.

While the topics here, I also have a question. If you absorb the spell, say whilst using Dragonskin, do you take 50% less damage as well as gaining Magicka, or is used solely for the purpose of boosting your magicka back up?

Nope you'll absorb the WHOLE spell. Dragonskin only works for physical damage I believe.
