Is anything known about magicka recovery rate? Based upon vague rumor & insinuation I'm *guessing* that it is linear with max magicka, and reduced by a percentage for each piece of armor worn, with the percentage varying depending upon which slot the armor occupies. But that's all guesses and even if true says nothing about the exact percentage reductions applied by armor, whether heavy and light armor would apply the same reductions as each other, how long it would take to go from empty magicka pool to full magicka pool without armor, and how normal magicka recovery might compare to other methods of recoverying magicka (potions, something else?).

So does anyone have any hard info on magicka recovery rate mechanics? It will have a significant impact on my first characters build.

Only hard number I have is that there's a robe at the very beginning of the game that gives a +50% boost.

Is that an enchantment, or just a... special attribute of the robe? Could I produce a similar enchantment on a piece of armor?

I heard a rumor that a normal regeneration rate was about 3% of max magicka per second. But I'm not sure on it's accuracy, and still have no hint how armor may impact that.

That sounds about right for heavy armor full set I think.

Seems to be an abundant amount of low ac, magicka regen apparel ingame.
