Started a second character today, decided I'm getting just a tad bit bored with the theif/assassin archtype. Decided that a mage would be fun. However, I'm noticing that my magicka regenerates at different rates at different times, and I'm curious as to what factors into the magicka regeneration rate. Seems like whenever I'm not in combat, my magicka fills back up quickly and I can sling spells all day. In combat, though, once it goes down, I'm quickly opening the item menu and slinging back potions.

Does my stamina level effect how quickly my magicka regenerates?
