A friend of mine has a problem with the main quest.
Heres how he explained it to me.
He goes after Benny at the Fort,he has Boone with ham and gets in a big fight and kills all the legion there.
Then kills Benny and takes the platinum chip.
Delivers the platinum chip to Mr.House,for some reason he doesn't get quest updates or something and ends up killing Mr.House.
He never went to the bunker at the Fort to upgrade the securitrons.
With Benny,the Legion and Mr.House dead and no platinum chip in his inventory.He's not getting quest updates and thinks he's screwed.

Is there any reason he can't continue with the Yesman or NCR quest's?I think he still gets quest updates for Yesman.
I'm also not sure if he ever started the NCR quest yet though he has done all the boomers quest's.


Also he lost Ed-e and rex is with Ed-e.
Is there a way to get them back?Maybe buy fast traveling to Primm.I think I heard somewhere companions reset to where you get them if you lose them,not sure though.

Any help would be appreciated.
One last thing this is on xbox 360.

There's no reason you can't go on with NCR he justs needs to get a note from ambassador crocker. There's never a reason he cant go with yes man. he can't even say no xD

Thanks for that,I thought the NCR was still able to be done.
But after more searching around I saw somewhere that the yesman questline does require that you either destroy the weather station or perform the securitron upgrade.

I do suggest he NCR ending because patrolling the mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
