Main Story?

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 2:07 pm

I've read a large amount of Skyrim information and reviews, seen most of the videos, but there is one thing that concerns me about Skyrim that I haven't had any word of.

Is the game more open ended, like Oblivion, or does the game "end" with the conclusion of the main story like the Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas?

TES games never end. After you beat the main quest you keep playing.

You can ignore the MQ, or you can complete the MQ. The game never ends. In fact, the game will keep giving you quests as long as you play it. Or until you have explored every place in the game. Even then, the Radiant Story may give you quests to go back to someplace you have been before.

Only Bethesda knows! ;)

Or maybe the few no-lifes who have been playing for 48 hours straight now ;)

Alright, thanks everyone. The only TES game I've played was Oblivion, and with Fallout following it I wasn't sure if the "ending" game was something they'd keep up with from then on.
