I found Maiq 4 or 5 times in the same place, although I've been playing 40+. He's just standing there doing nothing near the big lake @ Riften. Is he tired or something, or did you find him running?

He's been found all over. I've only seen him once and that was immediately after the starter area when you leave Helgath.

Have not seen him anywhere else since then. But people have seen him all over. Around Whiterun and other cities.

Perhaps you got randomly lucky?

I found him near Riverwood, died shortly after, reloaded and he then he wasn't there.

I still haven't found him.

Seen him just once so far. He was standing still a good distance west of Whiterun. He was lucky he's essential since I mistook him for an enemy and one-shotted him with a stealth shot with my bow.

I've at 45 hours and have yet to see him.

He's not very very old. He stated he was the cousin of the grandchild or something. I dont remember. He's not the Maiq from Oblivion.
