Majicka wont work! : V

When i try to use my Majicka, I get told i dont have enough!! The bars full.....so i dont get it...Any ideas?? It works after i take a potion of majicka or something but only for a limited amount of time.

Maybe you're using the wrong power. Try using magicka instead.

By the way, have you checked the spell cost and your avaliable magicka?

Ps.: The Majicka bar doesn't raise, actually. Only the Magicka. You can add points by leveling up and adding it to magicka. This would solve your problem.

PLUS you can use PERKS to lessen the cost of spells.

It was all working fine before...ive been using spells ive been casting for most of the game. Ill try increasing my majicka when i level up then.

maybe you are trying to cast a spell that costs more magika than you have.

try using novice spells to see if that is the case.

Try a different (weaker) spell. Unless there's something really odd, you have enough Majicka to cast the basic heal / flame spells you started with. However, some more advanced spells do cost more than 100 majicka to cast; you either need to raise majicka (as you did with a potion, or by going up in level and buying it up) or decrease the casting cost (with perks or enchantments).

If you just did that stupid college quest where the guy constantly talked to you through the dungeon and hit you with magicka drain , mine did that and I just reloaded the game , but may take something else.

Right I mean that I have been using a conjuration spell for basically the whole game so it cant be because of the spell cost...But now it wont let me use any magic other than shouts...the bar just flashes and says in the corner of the screen i dont have enough maGicka ....ive tried using every spell i know even the flames one which only costs 11 per sec. It happened after a quest that it wouldnt work...the one called No one escapes Cidhna mine.

have you tried saving and then rebooting the game?

if that doesn't work reload the save before it all went up in smoke.

Go to the magic menu and look at the active effects section, there may be some sort of disease lowering your magicka.

You have to go arrested for this quest, right? I heard going to jail screws your stats. Don't know if you need to SERVE your time to lose skills, but I've heard it messes up the stats just by going to the jail.

Try checking your skills. 11 magicka is... 0,9% of the initial magicka, if I'm not wrong.

check if you have magicka in the skills menu. Maybe you got.. don't know "1 magicka".

Are you on the PC?

But I suspect there's no disease able to lower your magicka to any number below 50. He can't cast a novice spell. I think the quest messed up his stats. Maybe even bugged the magicka bar.

No there is no disease...and no "she" cant cast a novice spell either. I might have to load the game before i started the quest but i think i have to get arrested dont I??

Maybe you'll have to reload. If you didn't go far since the last save, reload it and be happy. No big deal trying to fix a bug you can't figure out what caused it.

And yes, you need to get arrested.

I think you have to get arrested yes, im on xbox. And no i have 150 majicka and the conjure flame atronach spell costs 129. There's definately a problem I think. :ermm:

Reload a previous save file. It's they only way tho.

For that reason is recommended to save often. Bugs happens often...

Tell me if loading a older save worked.

no its full.......ive had to reload and start the quest again and its sorted now anyway
