Make me a character Build

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 12:50 pm

As an adventurous player I'd rather someone tell me a build and me make an ultimate charter build off what they tell me. I like all types of play really except two handed.

I'll give you my template in a couple minutes.

Jareshen
Race: Breton
Use: 1 blade and empty offhand or 1 blade 1 spell

Perks:
One Handed: 12
5 Armsman 0-5
3 Bladesman 0-3
1 Fighting Stance
1 Savage Strike
1 Critical Charge
1 Paralyzing Strike

Restoration: 3
1 Novice Restoration
1 Recovery
1 Avoid Death

Alteration: 9
1 Novice Alteration
1 Apprentice Alteration
3 Magic Resistance 0-3
1 Adept Alteration
1 Stability
1 Expert Alteration
1 Atronach

Sneak: 6
3 Stealth 0-3
1 Back-stab
1 Deadly Aim
1 Muffled Movement

Light Armor: 9
5 Agile Defender 0-5
1 Custom Fit
1 Unhindered
1 Wind Walker
1 Deft Movement

Lock-picking: 3
1 Novice Locks
1 Apprentice Locks
1 Adept Locks

Illusion: 4
1 Novice Illusion
1 Animage
1 Kindred Mage
1 Quiet Casting

Enchanting: 4
1 Enchanter
1 Insightful Enchanter
1 Corpus Enchanter
1 Extra Effect

Total Perks: 50

There is plenty of wiggle room if you forgo some of the light armor buffs in favor of enchantment, or do not go deep into the alteration tree. However since alteration has paralyze and detect life and shields and feathers, I would spend the perks to be great at it.

I have lockpicking as a specialty because I don't do the "save the game" before lockpicking attempts. YMMV. Feel free to drop lockpick if that isn't the way you play.

-One hand sword is just for style, hopefully we will have a bash move with a free hand in combat. With all the specs here I think 1 sword will be enough for this character.
-This build is meant to resist mages to a great degree (passive resist magic 55% without gear, and absorb 30 percent.)
-Restoration and Alteration are meant to buff its combat prowess, Everything buffing its ability to close and kill with a blade.
-For long range encounters, simply get a bound bow spell and use that to lure enemies close to you for the kill.

If you want 'adventure' then play without any perks at all...

Sig = best character build ever!

Actually, I just made it as a compromise because I really liked the pickpocket perks but also wanted to be able to experiment with all magic on my first character.

I suggest to just pick a skill you really like and focus all out on that one, then let the other ones develop naturally.

Or just max out smithing and enchant for equipment control.

All Archery perks (16)

All Conjuration perks (15)

All Illusion perks (13)

Grab what looks useful from enchant/alchemy for the rest.

Use conjuration and illusion to start huge battles and pick enemies off in the melee with your bow.

So how exactly do perks work?

Well basically they bring skills from beeing practically useless to beeing useful. The best example for this might be the illusion perktree.

So without them the game would be impossible. Lol

May I ask how old you are? Obvioulsy that was an exaggeration but it has SOME truth to it. how about you look at the perktrees yourself and than when playing the game just choose a difficulty that fits with YOUR choises for YOUR character that you enjoy?

Are we sure it has a difficulty slider? Also in oblivion even though the perks were worse you could get them all
