Making Armor Enchatable

Post » Wed Jan 23, 2013 12:04 am

OK total noob question: How do I make an armor item that occupies a non-standard slot so that its enchantable, Or how do I make an enchantment applicable to any slot? I'm missing something when I poke about the CK.

I know its possible since I've got cloaks, skirts, left-hand rings etc, but for the life of me I can't see how they said "cloaks get these enchants, skirts get those" etc.

All I'm really trying to do here is make an enchantment that can be added to ANY type of equippable gear, for the sole purpose of being able to rename it so all my costume gear stays together in alphbetical lists, lol. I don't need gear thats badass, its just gotta look that way. =)

Well, I never made a new enchantment in the CK, but looking at a base one, you can see that there is a drop-down list for "Worn Restrictions".
I'm guessing that if you make a new enchantment and put "NONE" under that, you'll be able to apply your new enchantment to any type of gear.

EDIT: You could check this out: http://www.creationkit.com/Enchantment

Ahh that appears to be it... that popup leads to a formlist containing keywords.

I miss Morrowind and Oblivion, this kind of thing was far more intuitive.

Muchas Gracias, oh mighty Curate.
