Okay so Skyrim crashes a lot for me recently, it didn't use to, but now it does. I am trying to troubleshoot the problem, the thing is I can't get it to crash quick enough (10 minutes is too long).

I don't want to mess with mods, drivers or settings as that is what I am trying to troubleshoot.

What I am trying to find is an area in Skyrim that is prone to causes Skyrim to crash because of heavy load, or something like that. That way I can add/remove mods, try different drivers and tweak settings. If I can get it stable in the heavy load (prone to crashing) area then I believe I can solve the problem sooner.

Currently I am running from Riverwood towards Whiterun on a new game, on my way I encouter the same Wolf, then a Thalmor group and finally the Companions fighting the giant. I then reload it and play it again. Originally it crashed in the first encounter, now I've got it down to a few run throughs... but it still crashes.
