Male hairstyle on female character?

Hey gamesas-forum,

I'm new here (though I have been around several other bethesda-games related forums for quite some time ;) ) and I wanted to start things off with a question.

I'm currently playing a female character that is meant to be more of a raider-type of person, and after seeing a certain hairstyle in my first playthrough I wanted to get that one for her aswell. But I had to find out that this hairstyle apparently is only available for male characters. Even though I have seen it on the character Red Tourette, it does not appear on the character creation screen, so I guess it usually is meant to be male only.

Is there maybe a way, even though there are not that many mods out there yet, to get that hairstyle on a female character aswell, maybe through console commands? I've seen 1 hairstyle mod, but AFAIK it just swaps out certain hairstyles with other, and it does not contain that particular one I want anyway.

Greetings,

FreshTheFallen

Go to Diamond City or Vault 81 and the barber there will have extra options not available at character creation. I think you're looking for the hairstyle called Unladylike.

Thanks a lot, indeed the barber had the style.

Even with about 200hrs played I didn't know the barber would have styles that even the looksmenu wouldn't ;)

That's one of the reasons I head straight to DC and ignore everything else.
