Man, feeling overwhelmed

There's so much to do in this game at times I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all. In most games I'm the type of person that likes to complete all the quests in a given area before I move on. I like to try and see all I can, explore a bit, generally complete all the stuff I can. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a completionist but not too far removed from that. In a game such as Skyrim though, you can't really play in that manner, since you're free to basically go anywhere at any time, regardless of level. Because of my play style, I haven't ran into the issue of moving into an area where the content is too difficult but I am having the issue of feeling like I can never get "done" with a given area. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that is a bad thing, I'm over 30 hours in and still feel like I've barely begun in some ways. It's just whenever I try to clear my quest log, I always just end up with more and more quests, it's funny but I've actually taken to avoiding talking to people in new places I come across just to make sure I don't get any new quests before I can work down some of the ones I already have.

Anyone else feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of content in this game...I suppose it would be overwhelmed in a good way :)

Yea i know what you are saying. The thing with this game that is different than oblivion is that the all the major cities aren't unlocked from the beginning. I am very glad they did this, it makes you explore and understand the map better than just going "oh i have to go from cheydinhal to anvil, so let me just fast travel". As much as I like this, I find myself not wanting to venture too far away from what I have already explored. So when I get a new quest that is a great distance away, I just forget about and keep exploring and slowly unlocking the map. I don't finish quests in one fell swoop as I did in Oblivion due to this fact.

However, saying all that only applies to the beginning of the game (even if the beginning of Skyrim lasts 60 hours haha). Once I discover all the major cities, quests will be much quicker and perhaps less overwhelming.

I know what you mean and for me it's a good thing.
I'm lvl 15 and I haven't yet gone to bleak falls, the biggest dungeon crawl I went is Pinewatch.

Other then that I been lvling my smithy and archery before I go to Bleak falls,I'm doing this cause I'm playing dificulty on "Masters"
