I used a mod that gave female Mannequins for my female PC. All worked fine but I noted that the Stormcloak Officers Helmet (bear helmet) would not show up on the Mannequin. I figured it was a bug and moved on.

Now I'm playing a male and have turned off the female Mannequins mod, however I see that I still have a problem with the Stormcloak Officers Helmet not being worn by the Mannequin. On top of that I have also discovered that the Ancient Nord Helmet doesn't show up either.

Is this a know bug in the Vanilla game? Has anyone modded a fix for this?

The problem is that the armor addon data for the helmet isn't set to allow Manakins (as they're called in editor...) to wear the helmet properly, so it's a problem with the helmet. Give me a second and I can make a fix. However if you don't want to have a mod just to fix that you can change the race to any player race with with the console command "setrace nordrace" (for example that is [their head may disappear though]). You can also make them female with "sixchange" (by itself) if you want, but note if you change one you'll change all of them after you leave the room.

Well, here is the small fix, however right after I created it I realized the Unofficial Skyrim Patch includes it, so you should use that instead. But since I already have it uploaded... Also the Unofficial Skyrim Patch is beta so if you're scared of that I guess this works.
