Many Users Experiencing Low-Res Textures - Is This How It's

Dear Bethesda,

Congratulations on release. I'm really enjoying the game but I couldn't help notice some very low-res textures in-game on scenery items such as wooden tables, scrapped sofas, Samuel's boat and some walls, doors and floors.

I came and checked online and sure enough, other users have come across this as well. In my case I've installed the game onto a 120gb hard drive on a 'jasper' model 360.

Now normally I'd just get on with the game but these textures really do look questionable for a 2012 release and I remember having texture issues with Skyrim. What I'd really like to know is- should these textures be this way? Is it a case of saving memory here to commit it to things like powers or should the game actually look a lot better in places?

I know there are a lot of fans out there who want to know so any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
