I'm having the problem where no map markers will appear on my map, not even custom markers. The few threads I've searched offered advice that didn't help. I would prefer to play with the markers so what can I do to fix this issue?

I've checked my .ini files and the map marker values are all at 1.
I have no map.swf or Hudmenu.gfx files to delete
All map related mods have been uninstalled
