Markarth "No One Escapes Cidhna Mine" freeze

I was having an issue with the game freezing when I choose to go quietly with the Markarth Guards for the "No One Escapes Cidhna Mine" quest. The dialogue finishes, followed by the game becoming non-responsive. After trying various other fixes, I put all of my inventory into a box at my house. The game would not freeze with nothing on me, so it stood to reason that something in my inventory was causing my game to freeze. Fast forward about half an hour of testing, and I figured out that it was my Iron Arrows causing the game to freeze.

I have 23 Iron Arrows (stolen) in my inventory. It freezes every time when I try to go quietly when all 23 are in my inventory. If I drop a single arrow, the game will no longer freeze when surrendering. So it seems that having EXACTLY 23 stolen Iron Arrows in your inventory causes issues. I don't know if having more would cause it. Being stolen shouldn't be causing the issue, as my stolen necklaces didn't trigger the freeze. Also, the arrow stack is pure stolen arrows, not like half stolen and half not.

So yeah, talk about obscure bugs! I've got a save where I'm standing in the temple with only the 23 Iron Arrows in my inventory if anybody wants me to upload it. Maybe it's some strange quirk with my system.

Edit: The save can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?xrdfa973n8v7ey4.

Thanks to your message I was able to get past the freezing on this mission!

I went to my house in Whiterun and I put EVERYTHING in my inventory into a sack except unremovable quest items and a few healing potions. I went back to Markarth, surrendered to the guards, and got to start the "No One Escapes Cidhna Mine" mission! :) :)

Thank you!!!
