So I've completed Erik's quest by making his father let Erik get armour. I just hired Erik but I get no option for marriage (got the amulet, even got options from other NPCs like Macurio (sp?)!). There are no further quests or extra dialogue options him or his father can give. So does anyone know if this is a bug? Or is there a console command I can use? I tried killing him and resurrecting via console but still I can't marry.

EDIT: Thanks to Ordeus (http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1268837-how-to-marry-any-character-including-lydia/) I just selected Erik and typed: "addfac 19809 1" and this allowed me to marry him. Guess Erik isn't in the marriage-faction! (UK - PC version)

I am wondering what we are supposed to do if we are not PC? I have PS3. Is it something that is going to be included in the 2.1 patch?

Well, I have the same problem, and I selected Erik, I used the command and... nothing... I wondered if I did something wrong, because It said: command not found ó.o... Oh, if somebody can explain this please, do it.

First, be absolutely sure you selected Erik and not a stray wisp of dust or a butterfly or something floating between you and him. The ID should say "000656E2" if you've selected him correctly. Second, I don't think you need to have the quotation marks around the console command, but I'm also not sure what including them will do. I know some people have reported that this trick doesn't work at all but it's not clear why. I had to console Erik to be marriageable myself, poor man.
