Marriage options and interactions, kissing, etc.

I like the idea. I wish I thought of it! Anyway, is it kind of weird that after I married Mjoll and she moved to my house in Riften, that one guy that's always around her is IN MY HOUSE ALL THE TIME. I walk into my house and he's sitting at the table with Mjoll. I wish there was an option to say, "Get the hell out of my house!". Each time I talk to him, he says, "I've never seen Mjoll this upset before. The city really gets to her." Should I be offended by that?

You may need to see a marriage counselor. Apparently, Mjoll's little buddy, Aerin, will follow her even if she becomes a Blade. I think he has some serious attachment issues. Alternatively, it might be a good time to test if he has essential status.... ;)

Make Mjoll a Blade just to watch him follow her across the world! Heck, does he follow Mjoll even when she is following you? XD

Instead of medium armor, spears, mudcrab leviathans, enhancements to vamps and werewolves, people want...kissing. And marriage stuff. Wow. Keep that to your personal RP. Go to bed at 5PM and wake up at 6AM and pretend you had a nice dinner, had some romance and went for a nice walk. No dev time should be alotted towards someting like this. It's just so...trivial.

What I'm thinking in a nutshell... The game jam crap or.... kissing your pixilated wife and doing meaningless, randomly generated, quests.... Hugs n kisses or.... leviathans and spears?.... Honeymoons n family dinners or... flails and crossbows  You. Have. To. Be. Kidding me.... Bethesda, please, do not fail us and make "romance" an actual priority or even a concern for that matter.

Meh, unless they fix the broken game balance, I really don't care. Sims, anyone?

You could try playing the Sims...you can do all those things in that game... :ermm:
I LOLED :D

Anyways many dedicated Skyrim fans dont want to play sims (for obvious reasons) even though it would satisfy their wierd fetishes about marrieng and [censored] people in a game (LOL)

They ARE your wives.

Basically, all they do is chat with you, follow you, cook for you, or give you money. I don't see the romance in that.

And the characters do have six. Thats the whole "lover's comfort" thing. I don't think it needs to be shown. D:

What? Nah.. I could see how it could possibly remotely refer to it. As allot of things in this game are implied but, that assertion is almost entirely based of the "imagination".... Besides the word "comfort" rather than "embrace" kinda points it out even further...

I loved this thread! It reminds me of Temple of Mara's quests, it would be really interesting spreading and deepening love in skyrim, i think our community need more love, less hate, i've just seen a hate thread, then came here, thank you :)

At the very least, you should have to prove yourself through quest(s) to your future spouse/husband in order for her/him to accept you as her/his husband/wife.

Right now it's like "Hey you have an amulet of Mara, are you interested in me?" Yes/No... WTF!!!

Then there should be special quests when you ARE married.
I kind of agree. First time I EVER "met" that Sword-Maiden Housecarl in Solitude, (can't remember her name), I happened to have on the Amulet of Mara and she said she was surprised someone like me wasn't spoken for, and she would've accepted my proposal there and then. I kind of like that I've been travelling and Questing with Lydia for goodness knows how long, and only now is she willing to tie the knot with me. ;)

There should be special add ons for Married folk, and Anduin sends a levelled Dragon to the Keep whence ever you start, just to remind you of the World that is.

There should be a "Well done" and "Thank you" or "You idiot, why did you start that" dialogue for interaction with people whom have helped or been your follower on particular tough quests.

There have been times when I would have enjoiyed that interaction.

Although options for... ahem... conjugal interactions would be nice, has anybody considered the plight of the poor motion-capture actors tasked with bringing this to us:

"Here put these shiny balls on... yes, there too... okay, but with more vigour this time... great, now lets do it with you wearing a tail and you wearing a helmet... lovely... "

I hope they pay them well enough.
