Marriage won't start

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 11:09 am

I proposed, I got a yes. I travelled to Riften, and found Miramar at the Birds and Bees, and asked him if I could have a wedding. He says sure, go to the temple in the morning.

I go to the temple. According to my journal, I'm supposed to talk to Miramar again to get the ceremony started. The arrow is over his head. However, when I actually talk to him, all I can do is ask if he takes donations, or if he could tell me more about Mara.

What am I supposed to do to get this ceremony started? I don't get it!

Wait until the morning (I waited until about 6am) and then go back.

Select misc. quests in your journal. Walk outside of the temple of Mara and then wait. when you are done waiting it should tell you to attend your wedding. Sometimes it gives you problems if you wait indoors.

I think this is it. If you travel to the temple early and then wait there, the ceremony won't start it seems. Or something. Anyway, I reloaded and tried again from an autosave and things worked out fine. But this time I slept at the inn instead of the church.

Worked.

:) haha glad it worked. a few days ago people were telling me to give up on marriage when it wouldn't work for me since I came here asking for help too. Now I am happy that my diligence has helped people
