If I marry Sven using console commands...

(If it's possible ofc)

Will he go on working as a bard in the inn in Riverwood? Or will he become a sit-at-home spouse like most of them do except if I want him as a follower?

You should check on a Wiki. I think UESP Wiki tells you who and who cannot be married and how to do it.

Yes but you can marry almost anyone using the console on PC.

You will probably have to experiment. Do not forget to create a save file before you do.

May I ask why do you want to marry Sven?

Because of his voice, lol. He's voiced by Jason Marsden, who voiced Boone in Fallout NV and Kovu in Lion King 2.

He voices a few characters. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Erik is especially adorable (personality wise), a potential follower, although not a bard, and according to the wiki is marriable (is that even a word?). He does http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Onmundtoo (mage follower from the College of Winterhold), but the wiki says there's an annoying glitch with him if you marry him. It sounds like it might be avoidable if you take him with you.

Marriageable is the word you want, llama.

Sven is a lying jerk. I expect he's a wife beater at heart. I'd sooner kill him than marry him.

He dare try to beat my character and I'll crash his skull with my Mace of Molag Bal. :D

if u want to marry sven, the console command doesnt really works sometimes. I get a buggy AI from Lisette and hroki. But if u really want to marry sven, get him as ur follower and find Erik the Slayer. He can be married but there is a bug, that if u dont talk to him with a mara Amulet BEFORE he turns mercenary and AFTER you do his quest, gg...

If you marry him (via the console commands you were speaking of) and tell him you want to live at his house he will keep his old routine (although his mother might give you the "you don't belong here!" when you go in the house). If you have him move to one of your houses he'll never set foot outside again on his own initiative.

"Having a smoking section in a restaurant Is like having peeing section in a swimming pool."

Totally OT, but hey, you should move to Utah.
