So, I was replaying ME2 and came upon Legion's Loyalty Mission, at the end of the mission, you have to choose between "brain washing" the Geth Heretics, to make them change their views and side with Legion's Geth or just destroying them. OK, now throughout the ENTIRE mission, Shepherd and his allies(whomever you take with you) are saying how bad it would be to brain wash an entire race, and even Shepherd will say to Legion after getting the mission "we won't let them brain wash your race", showing that Shepherd disagrees with the brain washing method and dialogue throughout the rest of the mission also supports this. This would lead you to believe that brain washing them would be the "Renegade" option and just destoying them would be the "Paragon" option, but brain washing them gives you Paragon points, what the hell?

Survival in some form is better than no survival?
