Massive mod conflict

I am working with a fresh install of Oblivion, all the patches and Shivering Isles. I used the 50 steps thread and the fcom thread to install everything. With my entire load order enabled Oblivion XP and Deadly Reflex never initialize, this happens on a new game. if they do initialize then the game crashes when i hit a npc or animal, I can beat a wall and everything is fine. If i load fcom, better cities, deadly reflex, oblivion xp,sdr, and all natural everything works perfectly. I have spent hours turning mods on and off individually and no luck on finding the culprit(s). I use the latest bash, boss, and used tesedit to clean any esps boss told me was dirty.

Use the working setup and add onto it, instead of going backward. It could be a particular combination causing the problem. What errors, if any, are printed to the console? Also, are you using the updated Oblivion XP?

Yeah i am using the latest update of Oblivion Xp Update. Will try adding something and see.

Both FCOM and OOO are the wrong versions. The ESM should be MB3 just like the main plugin, and OOO needs to be 1.34b5.

i am using Wyre Bash 293 standalone. Where do I get this other version of FCOM, downloading ufcom again just gives me esps with the same version numbers I had. Thanks of the OOO catch, not sure how I glanced over it in BAIN when I was installing.

It is the version in UFCOM. Double-check to make sure the ESM is checked in that package as well.

I take that back, I manually added the ESM instead of using BAIN and now I have the correct version. Not sure why BAIN didnt install the ufcom ESM its checked for install.

Did you have it working with v293 before, or were you running that reduced setup (BC+FCOM+AN+Oblivion XP) with an earlier version? No one's identified what's causing the problem for nGCD and Oblivion XP with v293, so it would be nice to know if it were working with a setup like that with v293. Are you using CBash as well?

I'd suggest reverting back to Wrye Bash 291 until the current issues with the patch are rectified.

I got it working fine with FCOM, Better Cities and version 293, its the only version I have used since I decided to play Oblivion again. Yes I am using CBash its just so much faster.
With the reduced setups I activate all the plugins and leave the bash patch unchecked, maybe thats why I was able to get it to work.

I don't know. Not necessarily. Try it before you switch. Read the ReadMe for that mod. It would tell you if you needed the Bashed Patch. I doubt it. Your leveling mod wouldn't be the reason to use the Bashed Patch anyway.

I reverted back to v291 and everything starts up fine, but I still crash once I hit a npc.

None of the mods I mentioned initialize when using a bashed patch with 293, regardless of whether I don't include them in the patch build.
I've tried it with a non CBash bulid..
With all mods acive but without an activated patch the issue dissapears.

The Python (non-CBash) rebuild works for me. If seems to have fixed my flickering moon issue too... weird... I really wanted that fixed too. Now, I have to figure out why. :(

Then you're probably not using v293, which is the latest version on the Nexus page. Also, from the run I just did, you should be fine using that version so long as you use the regular rebuild command. You'll see in it when you upgrade.

i never saw the option to rebuild (Cbash)... i just have the normal option rebuild patch


You won't see that option if you don't have v293 of Wrye Bash installled.

The Python (non-CBash) rebuild works for me. If seems to have fixed my flickering moon issue too... weird... I really wanted that fixed too. Now, I have to figure out why. :(

Are you trying with v293? I'd recommending going back to v293, using the non-CBash rebuild, and then if the issue persists report it if you're sure it's Bash's problem.

I don't know if its a bash problem or not. All I know is the moment I hit anything that's NOT inanimate I crash. I hit a guard it crashes, hit a wolf or goblin and it crashes, but if i hit a wall I'm fine.

I Too, have this problem.
When I was installing my FCOM with my mod-install character. It worked perfectly. Then I went to bed, woke up (didn't change anything) and created a new character. It didn't work.

So what do you guys think?

This particular issue actually sound a little familiar. There was something with OOO... A user was crashing when using a certain enchanted sword. What weapon are you using? Isn't enchanted or does it have a scripted effect?
