It's glitched and I can't get it, is there anyway to get it or am I screwed? This is on the PS3 version.

I've searched high and low for an answer, but no one seems to have one. I'll update if I happen to come across anything.

I have this gun. Its in the repconn building If I remember right. There is a room with the floor the feel out its tucked in the corner. I cam across it on the BoS missions.

Would not let me pick it up either but after fighting a couple of the security bots I went back and it was gone! I checked Boones inventory and there it was... weird...

That is weird. I had the same glitch. Will check my companion(s) later tonight.

I finally was able to pick it up, so you may try this:

Go into third person and crouch down getting as close as possible to the pod.

Move the right anolog stick so that the view becomes top view [that is, like you are looking out of a second story window at someone standing below below you, I hope that makes sense]. For me, the stick movement was down.

S-L-O-W-L-Y rotate your view left/right with the anolog stick and you should get the [x] to pick it up!!

my problem is the pod is locked. It doesnt matter how close i get or how many times i try to blow it up... if someone knows how to unlock it... please help....

I have this same problem, I can see the gun, but it is locked in the pod. I have been through the entire building and hacked every computer. The only thing I am wondering about is the hidden door on the top floor, my repair skill had me "jam it shut" I had no option to open the door, just permanently shut it. Is there something behind this door that I need to get the gun and if so, how would I open it?
