May the Force Be with you!

So, its May the 4th and as such it's national Star Wars day. What Star Wars things have you got planned for today? I'm planning on marathoning the Star Wars Anthology after running a few errands.

Well I might get my Wedge Antilles action figure in today, I got a Y-Wing with his name on it (not literally). I'm waiting for my Imperial Star Destoryer to ship from Amazon. Apperently the seller is taking their sweet time shipping it, I'll give them a few more days to ship it then I'm canceling my order and giving them a REALLY bad review. Um---I might enjoy my Millennium Falcon that I bought a while back.

Well, I've spent the day looking for a Slave 1 model or toy or miniature or whatever. I was thinking about grabbing the X-Wing Slave 1 mini, but I'd rather have something a bit larger. So far all I found is a http://www.amazon.com/Revell-Star-Slave-Snaptite-Model/dp/B001MDWY2Q which I'm skeptical of. But once I have a decent Slave 1 model, I'll be set for life. At least when it comes to star Wars stuff.

Steam has that Star Wars sale going on, so I grabbed Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and Star Wars Republic Commando, so I'll probably play those while I watch the original trilogy.

That said, I've always been more of a Trekker. I still enjoy Star Wars though, and having a day for it is pretty cool.

I have endured an onslaught of horrible Star-Wars puns and people trying to put Star Wars references into everything. As much as I like Star Wars, I'm glad this day only has 20mins left for me.

Never heard of Star Wars day until now. Not surprisingly, as it would be very weird to celebrate Star Wars stuff on Remembrance of the Dead.

I'm working on making my Scout Trooper costume 501st acceptable. Suffice to say I learned I epoxy-glued something on upside-down.

Can you even buy that anymore? I see a few copies on Amazon going for $100+ but that's it. It's like that for Battle for Middle-earth 2 as well. Man, what is up with these older strategy games?

My school had a Star Wars cosplay day, but that's about it. I'm not a Star Wars fan, so I'll just say, "Eh. Okay. Chewbacca is cool."

Speaking of Slave 1 I happen to own one seen here----> http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp212/sbcmarine81/Slave1_zpsf8684993.jpg

it maybe Jango Fett's version but it's still Slave 1 and I do have Boba Fett at the helm of it :D.

That's the one ---I like to call this the "last chance version" there's another version seen here http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Episode-Jango-Slave/dp/B000063JP1/ref=sr_1_3?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1367681538&sr=1-3&keywords=Jango+Fett+Slave+1 that has more stuff to it but it's now rare, but I like the one I have it's still a neat version.

Went ahead and bought it. :) I didn't need anything super fancy or expensive. The slave 1 is just my favorite SW ship.

Though, if I could afford it, http://www.toywiz.com/bobafettbattlepacks.html. It's like 2 feet tall, with the pivoting cockpit and all that jazz.

Anyways, happy Star Wars day to all and to all and may the force be with you!
