Memorial for a fallen companion.

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 2:42 pm

As we know, Skyrim can be a harsh and unforgiving land.

There are times when not everyone makes it out alive, and that can be true for the companions that our Dovahkiin picks up and takes with him.

So, let us remember those we lost.

Kharjo, faithful Khajiit companion, who's life was ended in the ruins of Nchardak, Solstheim. I turned away and you never came back. Killed by a Dwemer Centurion.

RIP, Kharjo. May you find warm sands in the afterlife.

For Ingjard, faithful Steward, despite having 983 hp, killed by a Giant. A moment of silence please.......okay, does this mean I can recruit a new Steward?

Perhaps in a future play through, you will learn to not walk in front of a loaded bow.

He's not really a companion, but I lost Shadowmere and never found him again. It's sad, because apparently if you wait two weeks in the place that he died, he comes back... but I don't remember where that was...

Only had one follower death.

J'zhargo. Sandwiched himself between my arrow and a Falmer's lightning bolt in Blackreach. Probably didn't feel too good, and I'm sure the long drop off the walkway didn't help.
But I reloaded a previous save. Couldn't lose him.

Not a follower, but the Dunmer who was caring for the Silt strider got blasted by a dragon...i tried to save him... i failed. Now the song of the Silt Strider seems to be one of mourning... and the world seems to be a little more desolate now :(. Solstheim has really changed my characters views on his life and experiences. His insatiable hunger for power has left many a friend dead cold and rotting in a ditch. As a vampire Lord, he went on a rampage across Skyrims' holds, feasting on all he came across.

R.I.P. Dear, sweet Cicero.

That Legendary Dragon attacked at an in opportune time. When you took a knee, it was cruel fate that placed you between the Dragon and the Morthal guards that it was getting ready to roast.

You now serve our Dread Father in the Void, and I know that one day Sorin Markov will see you again. Then we can torture the Souls sent to Sithis together.

Surely the Night Mother weeps this day.

Surely you must be joking. The denizens of the Skyrim Dark Brotherhood are an atrocious bunch of fools.
