Memory Leaks, Bloated Savegames and CTDs

Firstly, let me point to http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/679998-skyrims-memory-leak/ thread on the modding community, i've waited rather patiently for this to be fixed for 8-9 months now for the memory leak problems to be fixed, but it hasn't, i understand that its a seriously difficult task for programmers to fix memory leaks, and my programming experience is fairly novice. but i know also that its not impossible, now if time had only been dedicated to that instead of adding mounted combat (which was bound to cause more problems) i'm sure a lot more people would be enjoying the game much more, we didn't really need mounted combat, its not that well done, you can't aim with a bow, you can't go to first person (oh yeah can't go to first person as a werewolf or vampire lord either, that kinda svcks) and you get the idea, its sloppy, but i still appreciate it cus sometimes it can be comfy that you don't need to get off your horse to kill people. I would have by far preferred tho instead of this horse combat thats so comfy to have. that my savegame wouldn't bloat after playing for long durations and exploring a lot, and that my performance wouldn't degrade over time, and doing so faster if i use mods that improve the graphics within the game.

Not too sure if skyrim's faullt, but earlier today when i was playing my whole pc froze up, i had to restart it, since the event viewer didn't show anything except kernel power error (caused by me forcefully restarting my computer) i think its fairly likely it was skyrim's fault, and this happened only after 5 minutes of play, i don't mind crashing to desktop either, if its once every 1 or 2 hours, i mean.. i played morrowind and oblivion, i can take that. but once every half an hour is where i'll draw the line, and i know that my friend, who has an excellent 2gb vram 670 gtx graphics card can play this game so flawlessly.... but because he only has 4gb of ram (because his motherboard was defective and 2 of the DIMMS are not working properly, and using DIMM 1 of both memory banks caused bluescreens) he does, with only a bit of retexture mods crash to desktop every 30-60 minutes constantly.

i use a lot of things to improve this stuff, for example i have a custom INI file for my graphical settings, and turns out it makes my game look much better, and lag less. and also reduces crash frequency. quite nice. but not enough because my game still starts to lag after playing for a few hours, and it still performs badly even if i restart the game because the degraded performance according to my understanding somehow sticks to the savefile, and as the savefile gets bigger the performance gets worse, i'm only at 7mb now so i'm still pretty good actually, i lag in some places, but usually i'm fine in interior areas. But just to reduce issues, i removed the high res dlc textures. i'm just using mods that fix specific graphics that look ugly, such as faces, bodies, water and some meshes (static mesh improvement) i keep my texture sizes low, even if i have an overkill grraphics card for this game (gtx 560-TI 1gb vram) and will soon be upgrading to even better.

I don't know the specifics, i'm not a programmer, i don't know everything, some of the things i wrote may be wrong and i may be blaming certain issues on the wrong things, but for certain the issue is not my hardware, and its just an opinion but i wish bethesda would focus on fixing the big issues first, then the small ones. then after that maybe they can consider adding content. i bought dawnguard for crossbows, and i will buy the next dlc for the spears. i really like this game and i really like bethesda, the game is wonderful, and its certainly quite bug-free considering the amount of content in it. but i just wish that the developers could focus on fixing the really really important game-breaking bugs. its at least good they don't throw everything at improving graphics and leave that to us. is there anyone else that agrees that this stuff should take priority?
