So, as the title says, after starting the main vampire quest and getting the tutorial on how to use my new vampire powers, my game is effed. I have NO menus available. (Favorites or inventory. Screen says "character menu not available") I can not fast travel AND I'm stuck in 3rd person POV. I have read the post about the 3rd person bug; no one seems to have a reliable fix for that. I was just wondering if anyone else has had the problems with their menus, waiting and fast travels?
I can't say how much I LOVE paying $20 for the privilege of being a Beta Tester. Damn, it seems like each game is buggier than the last.

I don't know anything about the menu issues, waiting or fast travels. I do have the third person bug though and that is extremely annoying. Actually who knows if I have those other issues, I just stopped playing dawnguard with the third person POV bug.

Any mods?

There are very very few mods that are compatible with Dawnguard and 1.7.

Lots of mods. I will disable them, 1 by 1 (sigh) and see. I had no problems until I started the quest line for Dawnguard.

Deactivated and uninstalled all of my mods to no avail. Got a form letter from Bethesda with instructions on hoe to uninstall and reinstall the game. Wow, really. THANKS BETHESDA!!!

A solution has been found to the 3rd-person bug, care of DarkenDE. For some reason I cannot post links on this forum, so: go read the 'Help me fix the Dawnguard 3rd-person bug?' thread over in the Creation Kit forum, specifically post #13.
