Hey, Im looking for a merchant with 10,000 plus bottle caps, not entirely sure if there is one but i was just curious so I thought id ask. I want to sell my gold bar (from DLC) which is worth 10,000 and dont wanna get ripped off lol so....any ideas?

why would you ever want to sell them!!!

AFAIK there is only one merchant with near that amount (but not quite.)

What you will have to do is buy something from him (his stuff is very expensive.)

He has 8,000 caps. You could buy weapons or mods or ammo from him to make up the difference. To get the best deal read a magazine and pop a mentat.

Because i have a set of remnants power armor that needs to be repaired......as well as afew various weapons. WHich need alot of bottle caps in order to make them all nice and sparkly again!

Do you have jury rig? If so, metal armor will fix it as will any BoS armor.

Crimson Caravan's vendor has 10K at later levels and Contreras at McCarren has 10k later on.

Do you want a starting point of 10k caps? If you're looking to trade it in for 20,000 caps in just ammo alone, Hoover Dam Quartermaster is where you want to be.

Use a repair kit, I'm keeping my two gold bars. :biggrin:

as you level up there's quite a few merchants with around that many caps, lady gibson, also the arms dealer at post 188 has around 8 to 10 thousand caps by later in the game, the doctor inside the building at camp mcarren has tons of caps usually, gun runners has a lot, try the great khans merchant, she definately has tons of ammo etc and plenty of caps usually, contreras at camp mcarren, you can also try the hoover dam merchant and some of the traveling merchants have 10,000 caps.
