They're holed up together at the Lucky 38. Earlier, I took a nap there, and when I woke up, ED-E and Boone were shooting at each other. Confused, I reloaded my most recent save, and that seemed to fix things. Now, a few hours of gameplay later, I came back to find that ED-E killed Cass at some point, and is trying to take out Veronica, Boone, and Rex. Reloading doesn't help. I can't talk to anyone to send them "home," because they won't talk to me while they're in combat. So I can . . . shoot ED-E, I guess, but I haven't finished any of the companion quests, and would sort of like to do that.

It's my first hardcoe run, so this is incredibly irritating.

ED-E is a beast.

There was a bug re: this happening once in a while, which was supposedly addressed in one of the patches. Something about them fighting over food/weapons that you store in the room (because of their idle animation/behavior in the 38 I think, not sure tho). Obviously, the fix wasn't 100%. :whistling: Could also just be EDE going mad, like I hear he sometimes does.

I have no solution, if you have this problem, other than reloading a save from before they were behaving like this and either A: don't send them to the 38 anymore or B:do some testing and see if happens again. Sometimes upon reloading an old save a glitch doesn't repeat itself. But more likely, it'll have to be option A.

. . . yeah . . . after scowling at the game for a while, I reloaded a semi-old save and very firmly told ED-E to go back to Primm. That seems to have taken care of it, though I have to keep stepping over Cass' corpse in my kitchen. (Oh, well, now I don't have to choose between "Heartache by the Numbers" and "Birds of a Feather.") Maybe I'll arrange her decorously on the pool table.
