People complaining about more role-playing elements being added to a role-playing game. Go figure.

Yes I did. It's a rather ridiculous thing to complain about... and the Skryim becoming the Sims jokes are getting old. :thanks:

If you go back even further in time, you would find that The Sims diamond has a striking resemblance to Tomb Raider's save crystals, only they were blue instead of green. :shocking:

Coby does have a point there, though I'm inclined to think that people will complain regardless of what's being added to the game. Hearthfire kind of proves that point by the fact that it is based on popular features from the Game Jam video, yet is receiving some hostility anyway. Hearthfire obviously isn't for everyone, but looks decent enough for those interested in it. That pretty much applies to all DLC considering the vast audience of TES, and by the fact that everyone has their own ideas on what should be added to the game.

But what does any of that have to do with what is clearly a harmless joke thread? Is something like this something to really get bent out of shape for?

Add the red diamond back into the insignia, you've got an even better fit.

It's not really about this subject of this thread, it's about the Skyrim = Sims nonsense that has been thrown around like crazy since Hearthfire was announced. It's getting old... clearly many people throw that out there without actually even having any idea what the Sims is even about or even played it for that matter.

Adding RPG elements to an RPG does not make Skyrim the Sims now.

Yes it's obvious the series has turned into the Sims because it's expanding on a feature we had in Morrowind.

The signs don't lie, man. You want further proof? Add up the roman numerals of ELDER SCROLLS

0 + 50 + 500 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 100 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = ?

Plus 5 for the V in TESV

0 + 50 + 500 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 100 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 5 = ?

TESV came out on 11-11-11. The common number is 11 so add 11

0 + 50 + 500 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 100 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 5 + 11 = 666

So yes, there will be a covenant between Bethesda and EA.
Mother of God... Hopefully they won't take Skyrims ending and be like oh yeah
