What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is a creative sandbox game centered around exploration and survival; exploring and gathering resources allows you to protect yourself against a variety of beasties that hunt you down during the night. The creative sandbox elements of the game fuel your want to survive and gather, which in turn allow you to build many wonderful creations. Basic fluid physics also provide interesting means of creating basic machines. The multiplayer is very similar to the single-player, just with more people. Right now neither enemies nor damage function, however an update fixing this will be arriving shortly.

Colored Titles Explained:

Red = Admin

Purple = Moderator (will also have Mod_ attached to their title if they have a chosen color already)

Does anyone know of any mods with a goal of some sort for me to work toward? *prepares to get stoned* Preferably that work with 1.1, since I can't get back to 1.0...

Run First just installs Mincraft to the current folder. Dot no run these on the desktop, you must run them from inside they're own folder. Just create a new folder for the install tank made and then follow the instructions. This method will work for any installation.

That happens when you run the file as an administrator. Run it as a normal user and make sure any anti-virus software is not interfering.

I got it to install, but when I try to log in, it stays stuck at 'updating minecraft. done loading' and the load bar is at 90%. It won't go any farther than that.

I'm building a small pirate cove by the coast, and there's an oil well nearby. If anyone wants to develop the oil well and build up a town then you're welcome to. It'll help with my whole pirate cove setting anyway if there's a settlement nearby.

Will the tekkit server update to 1.1 when tekkit updates because I don't think I will be able to fix my problem unless I play on 1.1 on the server.

BTW if anyone knows a solution I get the following error after downgrading with MCNostalgia:

Internal Exception: Java.lang.nullpointerexception

(Yes I installed Tekkit and did multiple fresh installs of minecraft with no luck).

Er, Tank, IDK what happened, but apparently when you reset the Myspawn files, you borked something else, right clicking on any item with a UI does absolutely nothing, MC furnaces, technic stuff, chests, nothing.

Just tested with every rank, didn't have any issues. Make sure that your chat prefix is correct [Citizen], and if it isn't, use the command /sync . If something changed, ranks can get out of whack, and the default rank doesn't have build permissions, and cannot interact with anything.

No bugs, you didn't register at tesfan.mchost.org with your minecraft name, so your permissions weren't being given. I've fixed this for both you and Keys and went ahead and took away any confirm email flags a few people had.

The main Technic revision is close to completion, actually, but all the mods used in the 1.1 revision need to have Craftbukkit ports for Tekkit.
