Is Miraak confirmed to be a Nord? : V

This is probably a stupid question, I've never finsihed the DB main quest. Is Miraak a dunmer, or a nord? His mask looks very elvish. Someone educate me.

You don't get to find out. He's killed in such a way that destroys his body, meaning you never get a chance to see his face.

PC players will be able to find this out with console commands though.

I dont know what race he is, but the mask, outfit and weapon is from the deadric prince he serves (and tries to escape from). So you can most likely not use the clothing to determine his race.

Given his age and his affiliation with the dragon cult, Id say he is Atmoran.

When I defeated him his corpse glitched, and his hands and feet were not skeletal. He had pale skin like some of the nords. I don't have the save file anymore and his body has already disappeared. Maybe someone can reproduce this?

Lore wise he should be Atmoran, Snow Elf is also a possibility, but highly unlikely.

i was kind of bummed that i couldn't see what he looked like without the mask... but at the time, i was just happy to get his robes and mask!

Amen on getting the robes and mask. Also do to the fact that the dragon priests were "supposed" to be ancient nords, I would agree that is what he was.

He was a dragon priest. Now tell me, why would he be a dunmer if he were a dragonpriest who were Nords.

You will all follow the 16 accounts of madness to figure it out. Just take it for face value that Miraak was the first dragonborn and he was a worthy opponent.

A mod to remove his mask would be unreliable plus I hope Beth is awesome and put no date behind the mask so that way when PC people take it off him it will be blank space.

Well I still stand and hope we don't know his race it would be nice, it just like you never saw mater chiefs face. It's a great mystery and he should just be known as the first dragonborn.

I don't think that's a glitch. If you look at his feet (and maybe hands) they have elongated nails probably to show his connection to Dragons and just how he has changed due to all the Dragon souls within him.

But yeah, pure white hands and feet + a Manish accent. He's certainly Ancient Nordic.

A tester already ported information to his PC or something and found all the added "races" within the game. Miraak's race is Miraak.
