Missing <Alias=...> values in notes!

Hello good people of the forum,
First of all, I'm not entirely sure weither this should go in the software issues section, or the modding section, as it kinda spans both. I'm currently in the process of creating a mod that contains a letter adressed directly to the player. Normally, I would use "" to adress the player by name, however I've come across a peculular bug in which, when seen in game, the text just stops as soon as I try to get the player's name. The result of a multi-paragraph note being reduced to:

"Dear "

Curious, I also looked into the vanilla game's WE36PlayerBountyLetter, which also references many aliases including: , , and , among others. When placed in my test cell this also has the same issue. Since I had used the "showracemenu" command before on both my current files, and figured that the change in name may in the process may be screwing up my game, I started a new game with one Generic McDerpityon only to find that he as well had no name listed. Is there something I'm missing with my implementation of these Alias values? Is it all of Skyrim that's messed up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
