Every so often when I started my game, Steam had to "re-download" part of Dead Money before I could play the game? I then noticed that the Dead Money.esm would be missing before this happened. It has now happened several times with Honest Hearts as well? When I start the game, steam gives a message that it has finished downloading OH (what... I have already been playing it?) Now it seem that both of the DLC .esm's have gone missing again, and Steam will not download them? My only option is to "purchase" the DLCs? I still have the DLCs .bsa's and assets in the folders, but cannot play any of my games? Any Ideas?

P.S.: I had noticed that when I open the GECK and select the data files to load, both the DLC's were automatically checked? I had to "uncheck" them every time. (happened in both the older Geck, and the new 1.3 version)

Assets are there, but no esm's?

EDIT.: OK, I found my backup and was able to restore the missing assets. Still curious as to why this keeps happening???
