During a dragon battle my husband went missing. No body . Not in pub where we first met. Nowhere to be found. Can I remarry?

There is no remarry option even though I think alot of people wish there was including me, Have you tried reloading a previous save? Maybe going and doing a couple quests then coming back? Somtimes they will run away during a fight and it takes them a while to return home, If he did die you will receive a letter from the Jarl of whatever hold your living in and some septims for your loss.
