So my first character became unplayable due to extreme lag issues, so I decided to make another. Got to level 50, no problem and wanted to give it a break. Made another character, didn't like the build so I redid it. The savefile of the level 50 character was still there a month ago. Stopped playing Skyrim about a week after that (around the time Black Ops 2 came out), and I went to play Skyrim again today and finish the MQ with my level 50 char and I see a sight that makes my jaw drop. The savefile is completely missing. An earlier save is still available (at level 38), but the level 50 is gone.

Anyone else experience this?
