Am i Missing Somthing?

Some people are talking about dragons destroying them...i for one =have met only one beastly blood dragon that i couldnt kill and the rest have been cake. I play on adept and was wondering whether its because i play on that difficulty that im not having as much trouble killing dragons. (Fire ones can hurt me about 1/2 to 3/4 in a full blast but an ice cant hurt me at all (i sit their and shoot at it and i dont really lose any health)...Havent met elder dragon and have met a few bloods which vary wildly in skill and am wondering if i should be shallenged more)

I normally try and let them land and walk backwards as i shoot arrws at them and when they fly away i pull out my greater health spell and heal myself.

Dont get me wrong, i have never enjoyed fighting somthing as much as a dragon in skyrim, but wonder if im missing some of the experience cause i may be playing on too easy a skill lvl

Ice dragons are supposed to be stronger then fire, so you may just have a lot of frost resist. The difficulty level does play a part in it as well.

I think dragons are appropriately difficult, with some being easy and others being harder, but none being impossible. If you want a harder challenge, then up the difficulty.
