I have no textures on rivers or lakes.

I have tried installing textures mods (HD 2k, W.A.T.E.R, and HD DLC), but none of them worked. It is as if there is something preventing any texture from applying, no matter what quality or source. Low settings have no impact either.

I can swim. I hear the water. I see the fish beneath and the insecting skimming on top. But no textures.

I also just came upon a fire with no flames; just burning logs. I would not be surpised is these are related.

My system is:

CPU: AMD Phenom
RAM: 4gb
OS: Win 8
GPU: ATI Radeon 3870
