2018 is overly optomistic, but I'm sure they realize that. It will be interesting to see what comes from this project, even if it never actually gets someone to Mars.

The mission is set for 2018? Am I the only one who thinks that's pretty soon for a shuttle with humans to take a trip to mars and back? We just sent the rover there for the first time.

Also, recycled pee is exactly what city water is. So that's nothing new. As long as it's filtered and purified properly, it's shouldn't be too bad.



Oh come on. Hungry Donner totally ninja'd me on the 2018 being early thing. We even posted on the same minute...
