Mjoll the lioness died! RIP my wife :(

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:04 pm

Exploring a tomb filled with draugrs, one of them shouted her into a crevice in a wall behind a stone torch, and though supposedly immortal, she was killed. Hauled her body out of the tomb (with a console command) no place to leave her rest. :P

It's been a few days now but haven't heard of a testament, probably because she isn't supposed to be killable?

Are you now free to marry another or you're stuck with the body?

My sweet Lydia died by the hand of the Thalmor. I got revenge by killing them all at their base and any more I encounter now. Uthgerd the Unbroken also died on me even though I used her as bait. I was about to get Mjoll but I need to get her weapon so at the moment I am using Jenassa until she dies next haha.

All the marriable npcs must become mortal after they are married. After all, what devine being would consider itself equal to anything else?

NPCs are mortal before you marry them too. Lydia decided to attack a Mammoth once and she didn't survive.

I researched the matter a bit after a while, most of you are completely off, she couldn't have been killed in any way, she couldn't have even been sacrificed to boethiah says google. I thought everyone knew she's immortal? you couldn't kill her yourself. So I probably can't remarry at all now because she died of a bug and not because she was supposed to like other companions. Look it up! Help Bethesda? xD I mean it's been in-game weeks since she died, no letter received when visiting Riften or other home cities.

UESP say's they can die, and the only NPC follower that can't die is Derkeethus. NPCs that have gone down in the recovery position can still be killed by area of effect spells and abilities, so if they go down on their knees, don't cast blizzard or something similar.

RIP

Mjoll is one of my favorite followers to take adventuring... even though I have fourteen other ladies in Proudspire to choose from.

Hmm, I did that aswell but she was immortal (unkillable even when she went down) until she got thrown in that crevice as a ragdoll.

She is unkillable, here are 3 of many other sources for proof.

The problem is still that because of that I can't get the letter of inheritance :(
