Nice title right, but its not about religion, i know you all ran into this topic with flame throwers on max but u have been deceived (if u did not read the sub title anyways XD).

last night I stumbled into gamespot to check out the gaming news and I was GLAD and SAD to see that WH40K is no longer gonna be a MMORPG ....

I was glad because i really don't like MMOs (played wow for long enough and I don't want to see another MMO EVER, well not until they make something really different...) and now we have a chance to get a beautiful MASSIVE WH game that is full of classes, skills, weapons, armor, maps, quests ...etc and is a single player game.

the sad news is that lots of people lost their jobs (been there) and i wish them tons of luck and may God (the emperor if u like) give them patience and endurance.

I'm really exicted about this cause I want me some WH dose BAD....

so what do you think!!!

u sad, glad, both!!!!! what do u except the "new' game will be like!!! diablo-isk, dragon age-isk, RTS with RPG elements, RPG with RTS elements??!!!!!

nah but I'm sure they will use the assets they already made, I mean why start from scratch if they already started on the MMORPG, they just need to modify it and maybe crank up the visuals a little

Bleh, I figured it wouldn't work out. Been way too long since I heard anything about it, and I'm not sure how well the fantasy MMO one is doing (only that it is still there).

can u imagine a space marine "raiding" along side an eldar witch.... a HERETIC AND A XENO....

yah that would have not worked well for lore.

as I mentioned I'm really glad they chanced their minds but the layoffs are brutal, I just hope they gave them good references and lots of money

indeed but MMOs have a tendency to destroy lore at some point to make cash XD
