Mod Idea - To arms!

This is a very simple idea, all it involves is making the majority of the generic NPC's (Bandits/Guards/Vampires etc.) in the game unarmed, with weapon racks littered around their camps/bases and when alerted they sprint for their weapons. I don't really think it's particularly bright how a Bandit for example will go and lay down to go to sleep with a Warhammer stuck in their spine. Even if the weapons are just littered around on tables etc that'd work. Bandit sitting down to write in the camps dowry/count the lootcoins? Then his axe would most likely be on his table no?

This would work great in Skyrim for the simple reasons of;

1) The standard A.I have pathfinding to better gear, if there is a weapon on the floor better than theirs, they will most likely pick it up, and every weapon in the game is considered better than unarmed to them.
2) 'Loose' loot i.e the weapons littered around the camps and dungeons now respawn when cells are recreated every 3 days, something that didn't happen in previous TES games.

What do you guys think?

EDIT: Better yet, have all of the generic NPC's carrying only daggers, just incase they aren't close enough to other weaponry if alerted and forced to fight.
